Summary: We are looking for a Data Migration Specialist to assist in consolidating three ERP systems into a single cloud-based platform, CMiC. This role focuses on the ETL process and historical data preservation, ensuring a smooth transition as the project approaches its go-live date. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in data migration, particularly with Sage products and Acumatica. Strong SQL skills and the ability to collaborate with various teams are essential for success in this position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and execute data extraction from Sage 300 (PSQL), Sage 100 (SQL), and Acumatica (SaaS).
- Transform and map data to meet CMiC's import requirements using provided scripts and templates.
- Build and maintain a static historical SQL database for long-term access to legacy data.
- Collaborate with the accounting, payroll, and operations teams to validate data accuracy and completeness.
- Work closely with external partners including RSM (Project Manager) and CMiC's Project Coordinator to track progress and resolve technical issues.
- Identify and address skill gaps or risks that may impact the go-live timeline (target: January 1).
Key Skills:
- Proven experience with at least one full-cycle ERP data migration project.
- Strong SQL database skills, including experience with both PSQL and SQL Server environments.
- Familiarity with Sage 300, Sage 100, and Acumatica ERP systems.
- Ability to interpret and apply CMiC data load scripts.
- Experience building offline, queryable historical databases.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
