Summary: The Epic Willow Ambulatory Analyst is responsible for configuring, building, and maintaining Epic Willow Ambulatory workflows, focusing on outpatient medication management and pharmacy operations. This role involves troubleshooting complex issues, collaborating with healthcare teams, and ensuring compliance with clinical safety standards. The analyst will also drive workflow optimization and provide mentorship to junior team members.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Configure, build, and maintain Epic Willow Ambulatory workflows and functionality.
  • Support outpatient medication ordering, prescribing, refill management, and medication reconciliation processes.
  • Manage pharmacy verification, dispensing workflows, formulary setup, and medication protocols.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex production support issues, including L2/L3 tickets.
  • Participate in system upgrades, enhancements, testing, and go-live activities.
  • Collaborate with physicians, pharmacists, nursing teams, and cross-functional Epic teams to improve workflow efficiency.
  • Ensure system configurations align with clinical safety standards, medication management best practices, and regulatory requirements.
  • Drive workflow optimization initiatives and continuous system improvements.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior analysts.

Key Skills:

  • Epic Willow Ambulatory Certification (Mandatory).
  • 5+ years of Epic experience with strong expertise in Willow Ambulatory build, configuration, and support.
  • Hands-on experience with outpatient medication management, prescribing workflows, refill processing, and medication reconciliation.
  • Strong understanding of outpatient pharmacy operations and the medication lifecycle.
  • Experience supporting both implementation and production environments.
  • Proven ability to manage enhancements, issue resolution, and L2/L3 support activities.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and requirements-gathering skills.
