Role summary
Installs and administers Epic web and service servers, including configuration, deployment, monitoring, and maintenance. This role is needed to keep web access and application services secure, available, and reliable.
Primary focus:
Build and maintain Epic web and service servers; administer IIS, application pools, certificates, and load balancing; support web access, APIs, and integration endpoints; and manage security patching, hardening, monitoring, and performance.
Priority candidate profile:
Strong Windows Server and IIS administration, TLS/certificate management, load balancing, Epic web and service server architecture, monitoring, patching, and automation. Epic WSSA certification or the ability to obtain it is preferred.
Why this role is urgent:
Gaps in ownership could lead to certificate or patching-related outages, degraded integration endpoints, and reactive scaling for new environments.
