EPIC Web and Service Server Administrator (WSSA)

Responsibilities

• Installs and administers Epic web and service servers, including configuration, deployment, monitoring, and maintenance.
• This role is needed to keep web access and application services secure, available, and reliable.
• Build and maintain Epic web and service servers; administer IIS, application pools, certificates, and load balancing; support web access, APIs, and integration endpoints; and manage security patching, hardening, monitoring, and performance.
• Gaps in ownership could lead to certificate or patching-related outages, degraded integration endpoints, and reactive scaling for new environments.

Required Skills

• Strong Windows Server and IIS administration, TLS/certificate management, load balancing, Epic web and service server architecture, monitoring, patching, and automation.
• Epic WSSA certification—or the ability to obtain it—is preferred.
