Summary: We are looking for an experienced Epic Project Manager to lead complex healthcare IT initiatives, particularly focusing on Epic and ERP-related projects. The role involves managing project plans, coordinating cross-functional teams, and ensuring successful project delivery through effective communication and risk management. This position is primarily remote but requires onsite work for Go-Live events. The contract duration is expected to be over 6 months.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage project plans, timelines, and milestones.
  • Maintain RAID logs and proactively manage project risks, issues, assumptions, and dependencies.
  • Oversee project budgets and monitor financial performance.
  • Coordinate with vendors and third-party partners to ensure successful project execution.
  • Provide regular project updates and executive-level communication.
  • Manage resource planning and project staffing needs.
  • Lead cross-functional teams across IT and operational departments.
  • Coordinate projects involving Epic applications and workflows across multiple teams, including Ambulatory, Revenue Cycle, Inpatient, Clinical, Interfaces, and other Epic areas.
  • Manage projects involving Workday and other ERP initiatives.
  • Collaborate with Finance, Supply Chain, Human Resources, Payroll, IT, and operational leadership.
  • Coordinate dependencies between Epic and ERP projects when applicable.

  • Strong project management experience leading complex healthcare IT projects.
  • Demonstrated experience creating and managing project plans, timelines, RAID logs, budgets, and resource plans.
