Epic Inpatient Orders and Bugsy Application Engineer

Join our team as an Epic Application Engineer supporting clinical applications tied closely to inpatient workflows, regulatory compliance, and hospital operations. This role focuses on delivering technical expertise and support within application managed services to enhance patient care environments. responsibilities:

• Provide hands-on Epic application support and configuration build for Inpatient Orders and Bugsy modules.
• Manage day-to-day support operations, ensuring system stability and seamless clinical workflows.
• Coordinate tasks and delivery with offshore team members while managing client stakeholder communication.
• Execute enhancement delivery, coordinate testing, and maintain thorough system documentation.

qualifications:

4+ years of Epic application support/build experience, explicitly including hands-on experience with Inpatient Orders and Bugsy.

Current, active Epic Clinical certification(s) in relevant inpatient clinical applications (must be maintained throughout the engagement).

4+ years of experience managing day-to-day support operations, client communication, and offshore team coordination in a healthcare IT environment.

High School Diploma or equivalent.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

2+ years of healthcare or hospital workflow experience, with a specific focus on inpatient clinical operations.

2+ years of experience delivering system enhancements, coordinating testing, and managing documentation.

2+ years of experience working within HIPAA-regulated environments with a solid awareness of security and data governance requirements.
