Summary: Our client in the oil & gas industry is looking for an Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) Consultant to design and implement a unified ERM framework across its departments. The role involves assessing current risk management structures, recommending frameworks, and ensuring compatibility with Microsoft Dynamics ERP while aligning with GCC regulatory expectations. The ideal candidate should have experience in the oil & gas sector and expertise in enterprise risk management frameworks such as ISO and COSO.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess the company’s current risk management structures and gaps
- Recommend a suitable ERM framework aligned with ISO and COSO principles
- Advise on the selection of an ERM platform (from a narrowed list of 5 options)
- Provide guidance on ERM governance, reporting, and risk taxonomy standardization
- Design training and communication strategies to ensure organizational buy-in
- Ensure compatibility with Microsoft Dynamics ERP and alignment with GCC regulatory expectations
Key Skills:
- Deep understanding of ISO and COSO risk management frameworks
- Experience in the Oil & Gas or similar sectors is required

The organization currently operates with siloed and inconsistent risk management approaches and is looking to streamline these into a cohesive, enterprise-wide structure. The ideal candidate:
- Experience working in oil & gas or similar industries
- Understanding of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) region and familiar with oil & gas or similar industries in the area
- Expert in enterprise risk management and risk frameworks (ISO, COSO)
Key Responsibilities:
