Job Title: Enterprise Cybersecurity Architect

Location: Remote (CST hours preferred: 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM CST)

Job Type: Contract – Staff Augmentation

Experience: 10+ years

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the enterprise cybersecurity and risk management architecture strategy and 18-month rolling roadmap.
• Manage a team of architects, including budget oversight and talent recruitment, performance, and retention.
• Partner with the CISO to define architecture standards, guidelines, and implement frictionless security controls.
• Oversee Disaster Recovery blueprints for critical systems from cyber-induced events.
• Conduct architecture assessments and tabletop exercises in partnership with IT, Operations, and GRC teams.
• Drive adoption of Zero Trust Network Access, Defense in Depth, and other industry best practices.
• Stay current with emerging cybersecurity threats, disruptive trends, and vendor roadmaps; communicate findings to EA and CISO.
• Ensure technology investments comply with healthcare industry standards and regulations.
• Provide guidance on technology procurement and vendor management.

Required Skills

• Enterprise Architecture and Cybersecurity Architecture
• Security risk management frameworks: NIST-CSF, HITRUST, MITRE
• Compliance certifications: HIPAA, PCI-DSS, SOC-II
• EcoSystem-driven framework development and maturity (2+ years)
• Certification in at least one architecture framework: TOGAF, Zachman, DODAF, FEAF, or FEAC
• Strong leadership, coaching, and mentoring capabilities
• Healthcare industry standards and regulations knowledge

Preferred Skills

• Multi-cloud and hybrid cloud solutions; Business Intelligence stacks
• Cyber risk quantification methodologies
• Healthcare data terminologies and high-performance computing
• Experience with Teams, DevOps, Rally, JIRA, Confluence, App Orchard
• Multiple architecture framework certifications (TOGAF, Zachman, DODAF, FEAF, FEAC)
• Security certifications: CISSP, CISM
