  • Deliver final documentation and present to the steering committee and key stakeholders.

Project Title: Manufacturing & Supply Chain Architecture Assessment and Transformation Roadmap

Description:

Project Scope:

  • Document the “As-Is” architecture
  • Collaborate with business and IS stakeholders
  • Define a “Target Architecture”
  • Propose prioritized, tactical initiatives

Mission Objectives

  • Map the current (“As-Is”) application and data architecture across manufacturing and supply chain functions for the organization’s solutions
  • Identify pain points, risks, and duplications
  • Define a modular “To-Be” architecture aligned with business goals and core applications (Salesforce, ServiceNow, Oracle EBS)
  • Recommend pragmatic tactical initiatives and integration options for one recent acquisition

Scope:

  • Kick-off & Scoping

As-Is Architecture Assessment

  • Document systems per plant (NetSuite, SAP, legacy/custom, non-digitized)
  • Map data flows, integrations, manual workarounds, and shadow IT
  • Identify overlaps, data inconsistencies, gaps and risks
  • Evaluate functional coverage (Planning, Manufacturing, Inventory and Warehouse Management, Supply Chain, Finance, Reporting)

Business Needs & Pain Point

  • Capture pain points, future needs, and process maturity per plan
  • Assess operations strategy (build vs. subcontract, load balance across plants, etc.)
  • Align with the corporate Information Services landscape

Target Architecture Definition

  • Design modular target architecture, including potential new master data
  • Define core capabilities and interactions
  • Recommend best practices from similar industries

Tactical Roadmap & Initiative Prioritization

  • Identify quick wins and pilot opportunities
  • Recommend tool rationalization and integration strategy
  • Estimate costs, dependencies, and impacts
  • Create a prioritized and phased transformation roadmap

Final Recommendations & Handover

  • Deliver final documentation
  • Present to steering committee and key stakeholders
  • Support transition to implementation planning
