Enterprise Architect (OSS/BSS)

We are seeking an experienced Enterprise Architect with a strong background in Operations Support Systems (OSS) and Business Support Systems (BSS) within the telecom domain. The ideal candidate will possess the ability to model efficient architectures, evaluate relevant technologies, and collaborate with various architectural teams to design scalable, reliable, and secure systems that align with business strategies.

Responsibilities

• Model and design efficient enterprise architectures, ensuring alignment with business and technology strategies.
• Analyze existing architectures and provide actionable recommendations for improvement.
• Collaborate with Frontend Architects, Security Architects, and other stakeholders to develop optimal architectural solutions.
• Design and document new architectures, focusing on scalability, reliability, security, and performance.
• Identify opportunities for technology enhancements and improvements across the organization.
• Research and evaluate emerging technologies, such as cloud computing, AI, and IoT, and assess their potential applications.
• Work closely with departmental leads to ensure technology initiatives align with business objectives.
• Engage with multiple business teams, stakeholders, and partners (e.g., Amazon, Target, Walmart, Apple) to gather requirements and feedback.
• Utilize enterprise architecture tools (e.g., Lucidchart, Draw.io, Figma) to create visual representations of architectures and facilitate stakeholder discussions.

Mandatory Skills

• Proven experience in Telecom OSS/BSS domain with a strong understanding of end to end integration.
• In depth knowledge of customer onboarding processes, including sales buyflow, order fulfillment, billing, payment, retail logistics & supply chain, network provisioning, and product catalog management.
• Strong understanding of distributed systems and familiarity with software design patterns and principles.
• Expertise in PCRF, discounting, quotation, refund, and charging mechanisms for telecom customers.
• AWS Solution Architect certification with comprehensive knowledge of security, firewalls, authentication, Amazon API Gateway, Lambda, SQS, AWS Simple Notification Service, Kafka, Amazon ECS, and AWS EC2.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with enterprise architecture frameworks, particularly TOGAF.
• Familiarity with emerging technologies and their applications in the telecom sector.
• Experience working with software architecture tools in both organizational and client settings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
• 10 15 years of experience in enterprise architecture, with a focus on OSS/BSS in the telecom industry.
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills, with the ability to communicate complex concepts to non technical stakeholders.
• Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team oriented environment.
