Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the High-Level Design and Analysis phase of a major transformation programme.
  • Lead third-party teams, including Solutions Architects.
  • Manage stakeholders at all levels, including C-Suite executives.
  • Oversee large-scale programmes and ensure delivery within aggressive timelines.
  • Engage in supplier management within a multi-supplier environment.
  • Contribute to decommissioning technical estates.
  • Utilize Azure Cloud and Policy Admin/Application systems.
  • Work within the Financial Services sector, particularly in Life & Pensions.

Role: Enterprise Architect (Major transformation Programme)

Day rate: £600pd-£700pd (Inside IR35)

Contract: 6 months initial

Working location: Remote working with occasional travel to the West Midlands

We are working with a large-scale financial organisation based in the West Midlands, who are currently recruiting for a heavy hitting Enterprise Architect to join the business on an initial 6-month contract. You will play a huge role in a major transformation programme, which is due to start phase 2 imminently.

The client requires the successful Enterprise Architect to initially support on the High-Level Design and Analysis phase. You will have excellent experience in leading 3rd party teams (Solutions Architects), work extensively within a multi-supplier environment. You will have overseen similar sized large-scale programmes previously, and worked with stakeholders at all levels, including up to C-Suite. The client is working to aggressive timelines, and the successful candidate will have a proven track record of delivering in such a manner previously.

Skills and experience required for the role:

  • Extensive "heavy hitting" Enterprise Architecture experience
  • Proven track record of delivering large-scale programmes previously
  • Excellent background of working with multiple suppliers/high level supplier management
  • Up to C-Suite level Stakeholder Management
  • A background within Financial Services
  • High Level Design and Analysis work
  • Previous experience of decommissioning technical estates
  • Proven experience within technical settings
  • Azure Cloud experience
  • Policy Admin/Application systems experience
  • Life & Pensions experience (Highly Desirable)
