Enterprise Architect

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with senior leadership to align IT strategy with business goals, developing enterprise-wide technology roadmaps and blueprints.
• Create and maintain enterprise architecture models, including business, data, application, and technology architectures, using frameworks such as TOGAF or Zachman.
• Assess emerging technologies and recommend solutions to enhance Verizon's infrastructure, applications, and services.
• Partner with business units, IT teams, and external vendors to ensure seamless integration of systems and processes.
• Identify opportunities to streamline processes, reduce costs, and improve system performance through architectural improvements.
• Drive digital transformation initiatives, leveraging cloud, AI, IoT, 5G, and other advanced technologies to support Verizon's strategic vision.

Key Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
• 12+ years of experience in IT architecture, with at least 3 years in an enterprise architecture role.
• Proven track record of designing and implementing complex, enterprise-scale solutions.
• Experience in telecommunications or technology-driven industries is a plus.
• Expertise in enterprise architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF, Zachman).
• Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud), microservices, and API-driven architectures.
• Familiarity with network technologies, including 5G, SDN, and NFV.
• Proficiency in modeling tools (e.g., ArchiMate, Enterprise Architect, or similar).
• Understanding of cybersecurity principles and compliance frameworks (e.g., NIST, GDPR).
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills to engage with diverse stakeholders.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence decision-making.
• TOGAF, Zachman, or equivalent architecture certification preferred.
• Cloud certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Azure Architect).
• ITIL or PMP certification is a plus.
