Enterprise Architect

Enterprise Architect - 6 months - Remote with occasional travel to Reading - £750-£850 per day inside ir35 (depending on experience)

Please note: Due to the nature of the project, successful applicants will be required to be SC cleared prior to appointment.

My client is a global leading IT consultancy. They are on the hunt for an Enterprise Architect to contribute to enterprise-wide architecture planning and governance, ensuring that technology decisions align with business objectives and long-term IT strategy. The role is expected to proactively propose ideas and independently prepare related materials.

Must-Have Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in solution architecture, system architecture, or system design.
• Experience in upstream project phases, including requirements gathering and high-level design.
• Experience delivering large-scale system implementation or transformation programmes.
• Design experience across one or more domains, including applications, data, and infrastructure.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Experience with TOGAF.
• Operational experience as an Architect.

Nice-to-Have Requirements

• Experience developing Enterprise Architecture frameworks and roadmaps.
• Experience in IT strategy or IT planning functions.
• Experience contributing to digital transformation programmes.
• Experience leading or contributing to cloud migration initiatives.
• Experience designing data platforms and analytics environments.
• Experience delivering global system implementation programmes.

Certifications and Knowledge

• TOGAF certification (preferred).
• Microsoft Azure Architect certification.
• PMP certification.

This temporary contract is inside IR35 and will require working under the direction of the client delivery manager as part of a multi-disciplinary team. The successful candidate will follow established delivery processes and working practices.

This role requires the successful candidate to undergo and be eligible for UK Security Vetting at SC/DV level. Clearance sponsorship will be provided where required. Due to the nature of the work, candidates should meet the relevant residency requirements. If applicable, reserved post nationality restrictions will be confirmed by the client.
