Summary: The Integration & Dev Ops Enterprise Architect at KPMG is responsible for developing and executing the integration and DevOps technology strategy for the UK Firm. This role involves creating a roadmap that aligns with business needs, promotes modern cloud-based technologies, and ensures effective integration solutions. The architect will also govern technology choices and support solution architects in delivering fit-for-purpose designs. The position requires a deep understanding of integration platforms and the ability to influence stakeholders across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain core knowledge of integration platforms and technology trends.
  • Build and maintain the integration technology roadmap and architecture.
  • Ensure alignment of Capability roadmaps with the integration strategy.
  • Translate business requirements into technical requirements.
  • Contribute to the selection of integration technologies.
  • Support the design and implementation of operating models for integration deployments.
  • Establish and participate in the technology assurance process.
  • Manage and reduce technical debt by decommissioning legacy technology.
  • Support the selection and implementation of enterprise architecture tools.

Key Skills:

  • Expert knowledge of leading Cloud-based integration platforms (e.g., Azure/AWS, MuleSoft).
  • Good knowledge of integration and data architectures (e.g., API management, service buses).
  • 10+ years of experience in integration platform implementation, with 6 years as a technical lead.
  • Experience in designing complex integration patterns and reusable components.
  • Familiarity with Agile SDLC methods.
  • Strong communication skills for explaining technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Good understanding of project management concepts.
  • Ability to work with ambiguity and provide clarity of direction.
  • Desirable: Knowledge of ServiceNow IntegrationHub, experience leading offshore teams, understanding of GDPR and ISO 27001.
  • Bachelor’s degree.
