Summary: We are looking for an experienced Enterprise Architect to spearhead digital transformation initiatives within a manufacturing organization. The role involves defining enterprise architecture strategy, modernizing legacy systems, and leveraging cloud and AI technologies to achieve business objectives. The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge in manufacturing systems and cloud modernization, with a focus on translating business goals into effective technology architectures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define and implement enterprise-wide architecture frameworks aligned with digital transformation goals
- Develop business capability models, target state architecture, and transformation roadmaps
- Align IT strategy with business outcomes across manufacturing, supply chain, operations, and corporate functions
- Establish governance models, architecture standards, and best practices
- Lead large-scale transformation initiatives including ERP modernization, smart manufacturing, IIoT, and data platforms
- Drive legacy application rationalization and modernization strategies
- Collaborate with executive stakeholders (CIO, CTO, VP Engineering, Operations leaders) to prioritize transformation initiatives
- Architect and oversee migration to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform)
- Design scalable cloud-native and hybrid architectures
- Implement best practices for security, cost optimization, resilience, and performance
- Leverage cloud services for data, analytics, and AI use cases
- Define enterprise AI strategy and roadmap aligned with business use cases
- Identify opportunities for AI/ML adoption in predictive maintenance, quality control, demand forecasting, and supply chain optimization
- Architect data platforms enabling real-time analytics and AI-driven insights
- Evaluate and integrate AI tools, frameworks, and platforms
- Drive architecture solutions across MES, ERP (SAP preferred), PLM, SCADA, and IoT systems
- Optimize manufacturing operations through digital technologies
- Enable Industry 4.0 initiatives, including automation, robotics, and smart factories
- Act as a trusted advisor to business and IT leadership
- Lead discussions with system integrators and vendors
- Evaluate technology solutions and recommend best-fit platforms
Key Skills:
- 12+ years of IT experience with at least 5+ years as an Enterprise Architect
- Strong experience in manufacturing industry environments
- Proven track record delivering digital transformation programs
- Expertise in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform)
- Experience architecting AI/ML and data analytics solutions
- Solid understanding of enterprise integration patterns, APIs, and microservices architectures
