The role
On behalf of a Central Government client, we are looking for an experienced Enterprise Architect to support an exciting cross-government digital initiative.
The role will support a pilot exploring how architectural information held across government departments and local councils can be connected, compared and maintained to support better, evidence-led architecture decisions.
You will take the lead in defining the architectural information foundation, establishing a consistent government-wide taxonomy and metamodel, and ensuring the underlying platform can effectively represent and analyse information from multiple organisations.
Essential experience:
- Proven experience as an Enterprise, Solution or Business Architect.
- Strong knowledge of ArchiMate and TOGAF, including capability and application portfolio modelling.
- Experience designing or configuring metamodels within an Enterprise Architecture repository tool.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills, with the ability to explain complex architectural concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Experience running architecture governance forums, design authorities or architecture review boards.
Desirable experience:
- Hands-on experience configuring Ardoq, Avolution ABACUS or similar Enterprise Architecture tools.
- TOGAF or ArchiMate certification.
- Information modelling or data architecture experience.
- Previous experience supporting central or local government organisations.
