Summary: The Engineering Specialist role is a part-time, remote position focused on designing complex engineering workflows across various domains such as manufacturing and supply chain. The position requires strong experience in engineering and the ability to create and review engineering artifacts. Key Responsibilities:
- Design complex, end-to-end engineering workflows across manufacturing, supply chain, and quality domains
- Develop realistic scenarios to evaluate how advanced models handle engineering tasks
- Assess outputs across process engineering, mechanical design, and compliance documentation
- Create and review engineering artifacts such as SOPs, BOMs, CAD drawings, and inspection protocols
- Grade performance based on reasoning, accuracy, and execution across multi-step workflows
Key Skills:
- Strong experience in manufacturing, mechanical, industrial, or process engineering
- Strong experience in tools and systems such as CAD, GD&T, manufacturing processes, or quality frameworks
- Strong experience in creating and interpreting engineering artifacts (drawings, FMEA, CAPA, process flows)
- Strong written communication skills with the ability to clearly document step-by-step reasoning
- Ability to work on long, complex problem sets requiring sustained focus
