Summary: The Engineering Solutions Lead is responsible for transforming engineering problem statements into detailed requirements and facilitating technical discussions across functions. This role involves evaluating technical feasibility, performing fit-gap analyses, and leading a globally distributed team to enhance engineering productivity. The position requires proficiency in ECAD and MCAD, along with a strong understanding of engineering processes and priorities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive work from engineering problem statements to detailed test-ready requirements
- Facilitate challenging technical and cross functional discussions
- Translate engineer pain points and system opportunities into detailed user stories, features, defects, and enablers
- Evaluate requests for technical feasibility and architectural alignment across CAx tools
- Perform fit gap analysis between current engineering tools, integrations, and workflows versus proposed requirements or future-state use cases
- Lead a globally distributed squad by setting priorities and scope
- Educate partners on CAx capabilities, integrations, and constraints
- Drive resolution of production issues impacting engineering productivity
- Partner with Product and Platform Product Managers to maintain deep understanding of engineering processes and priorities
