Summary: The Engagement Lead will spearhead a high-visibility CEO Dashboard project for a large EdTech client, leveraging extensive business consulting and analytics expertise. This role involves direct engagement with executive stakeholders to gather requirements, define KPIs, and guide dashboard design. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills and a consultative mindset to translate strategic priorities into actionable insights. Experience working with C-level executives on analytics projects is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Facilitate working sessions, interviews, and workshops directly with the CEO and C-Level leaders to understand their business goals, decision-making needs, and expectations from the dashboard.
- Work closely with business leaders to identify the right KPIs, define their calculations, data sources, and business logic. Bring best practices in Executive Reporting and Performance Management.
- Collaborate with visualization/BI teams to ensure dashboard designs are executive-friendly, insight-driven, and aligned with strategic business questions.
- Bring a strong consulting mindset to challenge, guide, and refine business users' thinking translating abstract business goals into measurable KPIs.
- Navigate a complex stakeholder environment, with comfort in presenting to senior leadership, managing expectations, and driving consensus.
- Work with internal data/BI/engineering teams to ensure feasibility and alignment between business requirements and data infrastructure.
- Own creation of BRDs (Business Requirements Documents), KPI dictionaries, and functional requirement specifications.
Key Skills:
- 8-15 years of experience in Business Consulting / Analytics Consulting / Strategic Projects / Executive Reporting / Business Analysis.
- Prior experience in working directly with CEO / CXO-level stakeholders on analytics, dashboards, or strategy visualization projects is mandatory.
- Strong understanding of KPI frameworks, OKRs, executive dashboards, and business performance metrics.
- Excellent communication and facilitation skills, with the ability to influence and lead conversations with senior stakeholders.
- Industry background in EdTech, Technology, Education, or similar fast-paced industries (preferred, but not mandatory).
- Exposure to BI tools (Tableau, Power BI, etc.) and data environments (SQL, DWH, etc.) to ensure practical feasibility of dashboard requirements.
- Experience working in Agile / Iterative delivery models is a plus.
