Summary: The Endpoint Security Architect role involves leading the Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) strategy within a large-scale transformation program. The position requires an experienced security professional to assess vendor landscapes, define security architecture, and engage with stakeholders to align security objectives. This contract role is fully remote and offers a competitive daily rate.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead EDR strategy, discovery, and architecture initiatives.
  • Assess and evaluate the current vendor landscape and provide recommendations.
  • Define target-state security architecture and roadmap for endpoint protection.
  • Engage with technical and business stakeholders to gather requirements and align security objectives.
  • Support vendor selection, proof-of-concept activities, and technology assessments.
  • Provide architectural guidance and best practices across endpoint security solutions.

Key Skills:

  • Proven experience as a Security Architect, Enterprise Security Architect, or similar role.
  • Strong expertise in Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) technologies.
  • Hands-on knowledge of the following platforms:
  • Experience conducting vendor evaluations, technology assessments, and strategic discovery engagements.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.

Endpoint Security Architect (EDR) - Contract

Rate: £525 per day outside IR35
Contract Length: 9-12 months (initial 3-month rolling contracts)
Location: Fully Remote UK

We are seeking an experienced Security Architect to join a large-scale transformation programme, focusing on Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) strategy, vendor assessment, and discovery activities.

This is an excellent opportunity for a security professional with a strong architectural background to help shape and drive EDR capabilities within a complex enterprise environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead EDR strategy, discovery, and architecture initiatives.
  • Assess and evaluate the current vendor landscape and provide recommendations.
  • Define target-state security architecture and roadmap for endpoint protection.
