Empower Test Analyst / BA- Empower LOS and mortgage lending workflows

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Empower Test Analyst / Business Analyst with strong hands-on knowledge of Empower LOS and mortgage lending workflows.

The ideal candidate will have a combination of business analysis, requirements management, UAT, test planning, defect management, and mortgage lending domain experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop test plans, test cases, and test scripts for Empower LOS workflows, including:
• Origination
• Processing
• Underwriting
• Closing
• Post-Closing
• Validate Empower configuration, document management, and third-party integrations such as RealEC and Equifax.
• Plan and execute UAT and regression testing.
• Elicit, document, manage, and track business requirements through closure and BRD sign-off.
• Create detailed Business Requirements Documents (BRDs).
• Perform post-production validation and participate in defect triage sessions.
• Track and document defects using JIRA, ALM, TestRail, or similar tools.
• Collaborate with developers, QA teams, business stakeholders, and product owners to resolve issues.
• Ensure solutions align with applicable mortgage regulations, including CFPB, ATR, QM, and TRID requirements.
• Provide usability and performance feedback from an end-user perspective.
• Work closely with business stakeholders, product owners, and cross-functional teams.
• Assist with training business users on testing procedures and system usage.
