Summary: We are looking for a Business Analyst to join a Cloud Adoption Programme within the legal sector for a 3-6 month contract. The role involves analyzing and documenting requirements for Legacy applications, requiring strong stakeholder engagement and proactive requirement gathering skills. The ideal candidate will effectively collaborate with non-technical users and translate complex business needs into actionable insights. Occasional travel to various UK cities is expected, although the role is primarily remote.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with non-technical business users to gather and document both functional and non-functional requirements for Legacy systems.
- Challenge assumptions and think creatively to uncover actual usage patterns and core features of existing applications.
- Build rapport and manage relationships with stakeholders who may have limited availability and competing priorities.
- Translate complex business requirements into clear, actionable insights for technical teams and project stakeholders.
Key Skills:
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst, ideally within a legal firm, law firm, or top-tier consultancy.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to ask the right questions and dig deeper into requirements.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Self-motivated, with the ability to manage your own workload and deliver high-quality outputs remotely.
- Experience working with 3E Elite or similar Practice Management Solutions for law firms.
- Background in projects involving Legacy system analysis or SaaS-based transitions.
