Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate confidently in a remote, multi-site role with regular travel.

Key Skills:

  • Proven experience delivering projects within an electrical or M&E environment.
  • Electrical background or qualifications.
  • Experience working on energy optimization/energy efficiency projects.
  • Exposure to BMS, HVAC, or building services systems.
  • Strong track record in project management.

Salary (Rate): £375.00 daily

A leading UK-based engineering and manufacturing organisation is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead technical projects across multiple sites in the Birmingham area. Operating within a highly regulated, electrically intensive environment, this business delivers energy optimisation, infrastructure upgrades, and building services improvements for some of the UK’s most recognised engineering clients. This is a remote-first role, with regular travel to site required. This is an excellent opportunity to join a company with a strong pipeline of secured work and long-term contract potential.

Key Requirements:

  • Proven experience delivering projects within an electrical or M&E environment (essential)
  • Electrical background or qualifications (essential)
  • Experience working on energy optimisation / energy efficiency projects
  • Exposure to BMS, HVAC, or building services systems (highly desirable)
  • Strong track record managing subcontractors, project programmes, budgets, and site activity
  • Confident operating in a remote, multi-site role with regular travel

Contract Details:

  • Outside IR35
  • £300 – £375 per day (depending on experience)
  • Minimum 6-month contract with clear scope for extension
  • Remote-first, with travel to Birmingham-based sites
