Summary: CCS Global Tech is seeking an EHR Inpatients Order Analyst to join their Health IT Orders team, focusing on client requests and CalAIM. The role involves building order configurations, troubleshooting user incidents, and collaborating with stakeholders to enhance healthcare IT services. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Epic Orders and a strong background in healthcare IT support. This position offers the opportunity to work remotely or in San Mateo, California.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build required orders, order sets, order rules and inpatient related configuration as a working member of the Health IT Orders team - with a dedicated focus on client requests and CalAIM
  • Review and troubleshoot user incidents and requests related to inpatient, security or regulatory needs with a dedicated focus on client
  • Collaborate with other application team members on ensuring reporting, attestation and workflow design is appropriate and working within client for the purpose of CalAIM JI project
  • Work directly with client stakeholders and end users to address and resolve issues specific to CalAIM JI configuration/changes directed from client

Key Skills:

  • 2 to 10 years of experience working with Epic Orders and or other Epic Inpatient modules
  • 2 to 10 years of Tier 2 direct build support of physicians and nursing in a healthcare system working with Epic
  • Experience of full lifecycle implementation support for an Epic application/system
  • Maintained Epic certification in Orders at minimum
  • Experience with employing Service and Change Management standards in a healthcare IT setting (e.g. via ServiceNow, Salesforce)
  • Ability to identify, analyze, and recommend improvements and enhancements to operational processes, system automation, and information flows to ensure greater integration of functions within the organization.
  • Coordinate security workgroups, ensure integrity of the system's security infrastructure, and provision security for users.
  • Serve as the first point of contact for users, customers, and vendors on EHR-related issues; troubleshoot problems and respond to inquiries.
  • Support assigned interfaces and ensure interfaces meet the needs of end users. Perform a variety of analytical duties in the design, implementation, and maintenance of EHR information systems or applications.
  • Implement testing requirements and process, facilitate end user testing, hardware testing, and maintain test environments.
  • Participate in the evaluation of new application releases, test new applications and system upgrades.
  • Install or upgrade software applications; and troubleshoot software and application related problems.
  • Interact with end users and vendors on project design issues and work to resolve vendor production support issues
  • Knowledge of Epic software applications.
  • Design, implementation, testing, updating, maintenance, evaluation, and analysis of system configuration, system setup, and application tables.
  • Clinical applications and regulatory standards, a wide range of application functionality, content, and associated workflows.
