EHR Inpatients Order Analyst

Summary: Seeking an experienced Epic-certified Inpatients Order Analyst to support Correctional Health Services with Epic build, design, and CalAIM implementation efforts. The role involves leading the configuration and support of Epic Inpatient Orders, collaborating with clinical and IT teams, and ensuring compliance with healthcare IT standards. The analyst will also troubleshoot incidents, participate in testing, and provide training to end users. This position requires availability during standard weekday business hours.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead Epic Inpatient Orders build, configuration, and support for CHS, including order sets, order rules, and related workflows.
• Collaborate with clinical and IT teams on CalAIM-related initiatives, reporting, and compliance efforts.
• Troubleshoot incidents and service requests related to inpatient workflows, system security, and regulatory requirements.
• Participate in testing, implementation, and review of new Epic functionality, upgrades, and change requests.
• Maintain alignment with Health IT policies including Change Management and ITSM processes (e.g., ServiceNow).
• Support end users and stakeholders through training, documentation, and continuous improvement efforts.
• Ensure availability during standard weekday business hours to meet operational support needs.

Key Skills:

• 5-10 years of Epic Inpatient/Orders build experience with active Epic Orders certification.
• Strong understanding of healthcare IT systems, regulatory standards, and EHR workflows.
• Experience with full-cycle Epic implementations and provider support in clinical environments.
