This is a full-time, fully remote position on a 3-6 month contract with the possibility of extension. Candidates should have proven experience in a SEND/EHCP role within a Local Authority.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the full EHCP process for children and young people with SEND, including assessments, plan writing, reviews, and consultations.
  • Work closely with schools, families, and multi-agency professionals to ensure high-quality, person-centred EHCPs.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory requirements related to EHCPs.
  • Manage a varied caseload aligned to allocated educational settings, supporting positive outcomes and effective transitions.

Key Skills:

  • Proven experience in a SEND/EHCP role within a Local Authority.
  • Strong knowledge of the SEND Code of Practice and Children and Families Act 2014.
  • Experience managing the end-to-end EHCP process.

SEND EHCP Officers Lancashire County Council are currently recruiting for 4x experienced EHCP Officers to join their SEND service.

£266 per day 3-6 month contract (likely extension) Full-time Fully remote working

The Role

You will play a key role in managing the full EHCP process for children and young people with SEND, including assessments, plan writing, reviews, and consultations.

Key Requirements

Proven experience in a SEND / EHCP role within a Local Authority

Strong knowledge of the SEND Code of Practice and Children and Families Act 2014
