We are seeking experienced Edge Networking Engineers with strong NetDevOps capabilities for a large-scale technology separation and corporate divestiture programme.
The role will design, deploy, migrate, and separate site-level switching, wireless, SD-WAN and Network Access Control services across office, production and broadcast environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and deploy Cisco Catalyst 9200, 9300 and 9500 switching stacks
- Migrate site uplinks and connectivity to new core networks
- Deploy and migrate Cisco Meraki MX, MS and MR infrastructure
- Manage Meraki Dashboard templates and multi-site configurations
- Configure VLANs, trunking, EtherChannel and Spanning Tree
- Implement wired and wireless 802.1X authentication
- Configure Cisco ISE, RADIUS, MAB and dynamic VLAN assignment
- Support enterprise wireless deployment and validation
- Integrate Cisco Nexus switching in distribution and data centre-edge environments
- Support high-performance NAS, Isilon and broadcast environments
- Remove legacy VLANs, SVIs and access policies from divested networks
- Execute network changes using GitHub-based CI/CD pipelines
Mandatory Skills
- 10+ years of network engineering experience
- Cisco Catalyst 9200, 9300 and 9500 deployment experience
- Cisco Meraki MX, MS and MR experience
- Cisco ISE, 802.1X, MAB and RADIUS
- Strong enterprise Layer 2 switching knowledge
- Enterprise wireless deployment experience
- Git/GitHub-based NetDevOps workflows
- Working knowledge of Python, Terraform, YAML, JSON or Jinja2
Desirable Skills
- CCNP Enterprise or equivalent
- Cisco Nexus NX-OS experience
- Ekahau or Juniper Mist experience
- Nautobot or another IPAM/DCIM platform
- Corporate divestiture or network-separation experience
