Summary: The Ecommerce & Customer Marketing Lead will play a crucial role in the North American Sales Organization, covering two consecutive parental leaves from mid-August 2025 to mid-May 2026. This position involves managing the marketing budget, developing strategies to enhance market share, and supporting various customer-specific initiatives. The lead will also oversee a team of 5 to 6 individuals and ensure effective communication and training within the sales teams. The role requires strong digital and eCommerce fluency, particularly in retail media strategy and analytics.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a marketing budget and lead strategic annual planning for key retail periods.
- Develop people through leadership of a team of 5 to 6 individuals.
- Build strategies to drive market share and analyze current plans' performance.
- Support customer-specific Joint Business Plans (JBP), Joint Value Propositions (JVP), and Key Value Propositions (KVP).
- Conduct Monthly Business Reviews (MBR) and Quarterly Business Reviews (QBR) analytics.
- Act as the primary point of contact for Business Unit Leadership and the National Omni Team.
- Provide recaps for specific campaigns and test & learn initiatives.
- Equip and train Field Sales Teams with eCommerce sales knowledge.
- Report on Retail Media Network performance and conduct QBRs.
- Oversee digital expectations across Perfect Screen, including strategy and reporting.
Key Skills:
- Experience in the consumer packaged goods industry or similar fields.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs.
- Strong background in sales, eCommerce, marketing, media, and analytical skills.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, including reporting and presentation abilities.
- Strong organizational and project management skills.

Job Description Must haves:

Retail media strategy and buying experience familiarity with networks like Roundel (Target), The Collective (Albertsons), ADRM (Ahold Delhaize), and DGRM (Dollar General).
Business acumen in CPG planning ability to guide campaign strategy and investment decisions across multiple retailers.
Job Description:
The eCommerce and Customer Marketing lead is an integral part of the team within the North American Sales Organization. This contractor will be set to cover 2 consecutive parental leaves, with an estimated start of Mid-August 2025 to Mid-May 2026. This individual will support the Strategic Accounts and Growth Channels area leadership in the first part of coverage and will then transition to cover the Grocery Wholesale area. This person owns the management of the marketing budget and will spearheads strategic annual planning of key drive periods at retail.
Essential Functions & Responsibilities
People Development between 5 to 6 people (Analyst to Sr. Mgr level)
Building strategies to drive market share and understand how current plans are performing. Share out success and best practices.
Budget owner & cascades budget down to Sr Mgrs/Mgrs
Support customer Specific JBP/JVP/KVP as needed
MBR/QBR Analytics and support
Primary POC for: BU Leadership, National Omni Team
Recaps of the following: Specific campaign recaps (per customer), Test & Learns
Equipping & training Field Sales Teams with eComm Sales knowledge for them to eventually own through tools and document aids.
Retail Media Network Monthly Reporting & QBRs
Digital Expect across Perfect Screen: Strategy, Reporting & Share Outs across availability, content, and share of search.
Expected Experience & Required Skills
Consumer package goods industry experience or similar experience
Proficient in Microsoft Office programs
Strong sales, eCommerce, marketing, media, category planning and/or analytical background
Strong oral and written communication skills, including reporting and presentation skills
Excellent organization and project management skills
Ability to work autonomously with minimal direction
Savvy with business intelligence tools/software (ex. IRI, Spark, Reveal, Tableau, and Budget Management)
Ability to effectively summarize sophisticated information upwards and influence sales leadership to drive appropriate action
