Summary: The E-learning Developer / Multimedia Designer will be responsible for creating engaging digital learning content by combining visual design and content skills. This role involves transforming storyboards into interactive modules and collaborating with stakeholders to simplify complex ideas through visuals. The position is contract-based and offers a competitive day rate, with a focus on delivering high-quality learning assets in the life sciences sector. The role is fully remote, allowing for flexibility in work arrangements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Designing visually engaging digital learning content and assets
  • Creating animations, infographics, and supporting visual materials
  • Building eLearning modules from storyboards using authoring tools
  • Applying strong visual design principles (layout, typography, colour, imagery)
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to simplify complex ideas through visuals
  • Sourcing and managing stock imagery
  • Supporting QA processes including proofreading and user testing
  • Ensuring consistency from concept through to final delivery

Key Skills:

  • A degree (or equivalent) in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or similar
  • Strong skills across Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, Premiere Pro, InDesign)
  • Exposure to eLearning authoring tools (e.g. Articulate 360, Rise, Captivate, Synthesia) is a big plus
  • Experience or interest in using AI tools in a creative workflow
  • Excellent PowerPoint skills
  • A strong creative eye and passion for design
  • Proactive mindset with a desire to learn and develop
  • Ability to manage deadlines and work both independently and as part of a team
  • High attention to detail, especially in regulated environments

The Role

You’ll play a key role in bringing digital learning to life — combining visual design and content skills to create engaging, high-quality learning assets. Working closely with learning designers and consultants, you’ll transform storyboards into interactive modules, develop eye-catching visuals, and ensure everything aligns with brand and user experience standards.
