Summary: The role of Functional Lead - Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations involves leading a Dynamics F&O implementation for a pharmaceutical client across Europe. The consultant will align business needs with system capabilities, ensuring operational efficiency and successful project completion. This position is remote with occasional travel and is classified as outside IR35.
Key Responsibilities:
- Configure and customise the F&O platform to align with strategic goals.
- Oversee data migration, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
- Manage the integration of D365 Finance with other business applications and external systems.
- Develop and execute testing and user acceptance strategies.
- Deliver training and create user documentation to support adoption.
- Plan and oversee system deployment with minimal disruption.
- Provide post-implementation support and troubleshooting.
- Lead change management and encourage user adoption.
- Maintain documentation and ensure system compliance.
Key Skills:
- Proven experience (5 years+) as a Functional Consultant leading an end to end Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations implementation.
- Strong understanding of financial processes (R2R, P2P, OTC).
- Expertise in system configuration, data migration, and integrations.
- Experience in testing, UAT, and change management.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work with cross-functional teams; pharmaceutical experience is a plus.
