Summary: The role of Drupal Developer involves supporting a critical migration and development project for a leading organization based in South Wales. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in both Drupal 7 and Drupal 10, focusing on maintaining legacy systems while developing new features. This position is remote and is expected to last between 6 to 8 weeks, starting as soon as possible. The role requires a hands-on approach and the ability to work independently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain legacy Drupal 7 systems while contributing to the development of new features in Drupal 10.
- Support the migration from Drupal 7 to Drupal 10.
- Develop custom modules and themes for Drupal.
- Utilize Composer, Drush, and Git in development processes.
- Work independently and manage time effectively in a remote setting.
Key Skills:
- Strong hands-on experience in migrating from Drupal 7 to Drupal 10.
- Proficiency in PHP, Twig, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.
- Experience with Drupal theming and custom module development.
- Familiarity with Composer, Drush, and Git.
- Understanding of Drupal APIs, Entity API, and Configuration Management.
- Quiz module experience would be highly desirable.
