Summary: The Donor Care/Adoption Program Manager is responsible for fostering relationships with donors and managing adoption programs for Borneo Orangutan Survival (BOS) in the UK and USA. This role involves onboarding adopters, managing donor communications, and collaborating with various teams to enhance donor retention and adoption strategies. The position requires strong communication skills and a passion for wildlife conservation, with a focus on delivering high-quality service to supporters. The role is remote, requiring flexibility to accommodate different time zones.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain relationships with new and existing donors for BOS UK and USA.
- Manage the UK and US adoption programs, including marketing, onboarding, and post-cancellation processes.
- Ensure compliance with policies and procedures in all donor care and adoption communications.
- Evaluate customer experience and research new online media opportunities to enhance engagement.
- Process and manage incoming supporter communications via email, calls, and letters.
- Import donor donation data into Salesforce and promote high-quality donor service.
- Oversee adoption program strategy and manage communications with adopters.
- Collaborate with internal teams and third-party vendors to fulfill adoption materials and manage stock.
- Conduct targeted telemarketing campaigns to inform donors of new appeals.
- Maintain supporter contact records in the CRM system.
Key Skills:
- Degree or equivalent in a relevant field.
- At least two years of experience in program management or fundraising.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Proficiency in English, both spoken and written.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Experience with CRM systems and good computer skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Self-motivated with attention to detail.
- Passion for wildlife conservation and BOS's mission.
