Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain the organization's DNS architecture across on-premises and cloud environments, including Infoblox, BIND, Active Directory DNS, and Azure DNS.
- Configure, troubleshoot, and optimize DNS and IP Address Management (IPAM) systems to ensure high availability and reliability.
- Implement and manage DNS security measures, including DNSSEC, and ensure compliance with security standards.
- Automate DNS configuration and management workflows using scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell) and automation tools (e.g., Ansible), especially with Infoblox APIs.
- Provide technical leadership and subject matter expertise on DNS-related projects, including upgrades, migrations, and integrations.
- Serve as a top-level escalation point for complex DNS issues, collaborating with other teams to resolve incidents.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for the DNS infrastructure.
- Monitor DNS performance and implement proactive measures to ensure optimal service delivery.
- Collaborate with internal clients and stakeholders to identify new business requirements and design solutions that meet their needs.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging DNS technologies and best practices.
