DMZ Architect (Cloud Security)

Summary: The DMZ Architect (Cloud Security) role focuses on designing and implementing secure network architectures within cloud environments, specifically AWS and Azure. Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement secure DMZ architectures in cloud environments.
• Utilize AWS and/or Azure cloud platforms for network security solutions.
• Apply networking fundamentals to enhance security measures.
• Manage and configure enterprise firewalls such as Palo Alto, Fortinet, Cisco, and Check Point.
• Implement VPNs, proxies, and load balancing solutions.
• Develop strategies for Zero Trust Architecture and network segmentation.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders and solve complex security issues.

Key Skills:

• 5+ years of experience in network security / DMZ architecture.
• Strong experience with AWS and/or Azure cloud environments.
• Expertise in networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, BGP, OSPF, HTTP/HTTPS, SSL/TLS).
• Hands-on experience with enterprise firewalls (Palo Alto, Fortinet, Cisco, Check Point).
• Experience with VPNs, proxies, and load balancing solutions.
• Strong understanding of Zero Trust Architecture and network segmentation/microsegmentation.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
