Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Research Assistant

Summary: The EMEA Research Fellow at Catalyst will support the research team in delivering rigorous reports and tools focused on diversity, equity, and inclusion within the EMEA region. This role involves conducting literature reviews, monitoring relevant policy changes, and contributing to research projects that advance inclusive workplaces. The position is part-time and remote, emphasizing collaboration and innovative problem-solving within a mission-driven organization. Candidates with a background in social sciences and experience in applied research are encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct in-depth literature reviews and summarize findings for the research team.
• Monitor diversity, equity, and inclusion-related policy changes and demographic data in key EMEA markets.
• Manage and clean databases and tracking systems.
• Support fact-checking of research publications and verify literature citations.
• Participate in developing and administering surveys and other research instruments.
• Draft sections of reports and presentation materials tailored for regional stakeholders.
• Assist the research team with project work as needed.

Key Skills:

• M.A. or M.S. in social science, career development, social work, psychology, business, or public policy.
• Experience in applied social science research and conducting literature reviews.
• Proficiency with predictive analytic techniques and experience with SPSS.
• Knowledge of statistical packages such as R or Python is advantageous.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects.
• Expertise in equity and inclusion, inclusive work cultures, and gender/race in the workplace.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-based virtual environment.
