Summary: The ADMS S6 Engineer role involves implementing and supporting advanced distribution management systems, specifically PowerOn Fusion and PowerOn Advantage. The candidate should possess deep technical expertise in DMS, OMS, and electric utility grid applications, along with strong communication and problem-solving skills. This position is remote and requires hands-on experience with ADMS platforms and related technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, maintain, and support ADMS products such as PowerOn Fusion (PoF) and PowerOn Advantage (PoA)
  • Configure and troubleshoot DMS applications including DNAF, OMS, Storm Assist, and DER integration
  • Utilize SCADA and modeling tools for system configuration and analysis
  • Work with Transmission and Distribution electrical grid models
  • Perform diagnostics using remote monitoring solutions
  • Analyze and resolve network issues involving TCP/IP, IP addressing, LAN, DNS, Active Directory, firewalls, and switches
  • Ensure compliance with NERC CIP standards
  • Prepare and generate reports using Jasper Reports
  • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and clients
  • Maintain a high standard of work quality, consistency, and professionalism

Key Skills:

  • Hands-on experience with ADMS platforms, especially PoF and PoA
  • Familiarity with DMS functions: Distribution Power Flow (DPF), Volt/VAR Control (IVVC), FLISR or FDIR
  • Working knowledge of Linux and Windows operating systems
  • Strong experience with Oracle, SQL, and Cassandra databases
