Key Responsibilities:
- Design and plan electrical distribution systems and services for maintenance, reliability upgrades, load additions, or new business.
- Optimize the distribution network for efficiency, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.
- Manage distribution projects from planning and design to implementation and maintenance, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
- Ensure that distribution systems comply with safety standards, industry regulations, and environmental requirements.
- Perform technical analysis, such as load flow analysis, fault analysis, and voltage drop calculations to ensure the proper functioning of the distribution system.
- Identify opportunities for system upgrades or replacements and plan maintenance activities to prevent disruptions.
- Conduct quality assurance reviews of distribution system designs and implementation to guarantee high-quality standards.
- Maintain accurate records, drawings, and documentation related to distribution systems.
- Promote and enforce safety protocols for both employees and the general public to minimize accidents and hazards.

- Understand the capabilities and limitations of equipment used for installation and operation; understand the role of linemen, contractors, etc.; understand prerequisite steps to project design to enable smooth construction turnover.

Programs and Tools:
Experience with JETS, Socket, ARMS, and OFS (which is undergoing changes) is beneficial. Training will be provided for the latest updates.
