Summary: We're seeking an experienced Disaster Recovery (DR) Architect to lead a significant enterprise DR enhancement initiative. This role combines strategic oversight with hands-on execution, focusing on hybrid IT, cloud platforms, automation, infrastructure, and cybersecurity. The architect will collaborate with stakeholders to develop and implement a robust DR strategy that ensures resilience in complex technology environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the end-to-end delivery of DR strategy engagements, aligning with business continuity goals.
- Act as the primary liaison for stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and high-quality outcomes.
- Develop DR strategies covering on-prem infrastructure, multi-cloud (AWS, Azure), and SaaS/PaaS/IaaS services.
- Create and test realistic recovery scenarios (eg, ransomware, outages, cloud failures).
- Integrate automation and orchestration into DR workflows.
- Provide technical guidance on infrastructure, data center recovery, and cyber resilience.
- Deliver workshops and training to upskill customer teams and embed sustainable practices.
Key Skills:
- 10+ years in disaster recovery consulting across hybrid IT environments.
- Experience leading DR initiatives for enterprise-scale organizations.
- Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure), automation, and orchestration.
- Deep expertise in infrastructure recovery, cyber recovery, and compliance frameworks (ISO 22301, NIST, SOC 2).
- Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
