Role Overview
We are looking for a Digital Workplace Consultant to design, deliver, and optimise Microsoft 365 solutions on a 6-month remote contract.
The role is a hands-on consulting and delivery position spanning discovery, solution design, migration, and optimisation, working with customers across Critical National Infrastructure, energy, public sector, and enterprise markets.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead discovery workshops to capture business requirements and desired outcomes, developing target-state architectures and technical roadmaps for M365 environments
- Design and deliver solutions across Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, and OneDrive
- Design and implement identity and access solutions using Microsoft Entra ID, including Conditional Access, authentication, and identity governance
- Lead or contribute to M365 migration programmes, including tenant-to-tenant and on-premises to M365 migrations
- Embed Zero Trust security, identity, and compliance principles into solutions
- Produce HLDs/LLDs, architecture diagrams, and handover documentation, and support pre-sales activity including proposals, RFPs, SoWs, and customer presentations
Top 5 Skills
- Proven M365/Digital Workplace consulting experience in customer-facing environments
- Strong knowledge of M365 (Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive) and Microsoft Entra ID
- Experience with hybrid and migration scenarios, including tenant-to-tenant migrations
- Strong stakeholder engagement and workshop facilitation skills
- MS-102 and SC-300 certifications particularly relevant - desirable: regulated-industry experience, Zero Trust/CIS/NCSC knowledge, PowerShell/Graph/Azure Runbooks Scripting

- Rate: £350 - £400 per day Outside IR35
