Summary: The role of Digital Transformation Business Consultant focuses on providing consultancy services for a Middle East client within the travel and tourism sector. The consultant will be responsible for defining and implementing digital strategies, frameworks, and governance structures to enhance the visitor experience. The position requires travel to the Middle East for short, planned trips throughout the year. Experience in the travel and hospitality industry, particularly in the Middle East, is advantageous.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define, agree and mobilise Digital Tourism Target Operating Model
- Define Tourism's digital Services Assurance Integration and Management Framework
- Implement the Governance Framework & Structures for Risk Management, Change, Configuration and Control Body, Partner Integration Framework, and Acceptance into Service Framework
- Define Tourism's digital support model and framework for seamless visitor experience
- Define the high-level Capability and Maturity Model for Digital Tourism
- Define and publish the Common Framework to align Business and IT
- Define the Visitor Care strategy and digital toolsets requirements
- Define the Digital Communications strategy & requirements across the Common Framework
- Support development of a business case and statements of work to tender for services and budget
Key Skills:
- Experience in Digital Business Consultancy
- Background in Travel & Hospitality industry
- Experience working within the Middle East (UAE or KSA preferred)
- Strong understanding of digital strategies and frameworks
- Ability to implement governance structures and risk management
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Experience in developing business cases and statements of work
