Position Overview

We’re seeking a Digital Community & Social Strategy Consultant to support brand partners on a leading online community-based social platform.

This role is ideal for a community-focused strategist who understands how people interact within digital communities and can help brands translate their marketing objectives into authentic, platform-appropriate engagement strategies.

Key Responsibilities

• Advise brand partners on organic community and social engagement strategies, audience participation, and platform-specific best practices.
• Guide brands on tone, voice, messaging, content, and community engagement across different audiences and use cases.
• Help partners navigate community norms, moderation dynamics, audience expectations, and engagement best practices.
• Translate brand and marketing objectives into clear, actionable community strategies and recommendations.
• Provide guidance on social copy and content, including posts, comments, conversations, and community-led initiatives.
• Partner with Sales, Account Management, and internal teams to respond to brand needs and support successful execution.
• Identify community trends, partner feedback, and audience insights and share recommendations with internal teams.

Minimum Qualifications

• 4–7 years of experience in community management, social media strategy, social strategy, or agency-side/client consulting.
• Strong understanding of online communities, social platforms, and digital audience behavior.
• Experience advising brands or clients on organic social/community engagement.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, particularly around brand voice, tone, and social copywriting.
• Ability to translate community behavior and audience insights into practical recommendations for brands.
• Strong consultative and stakeholder-management skills.
• Comfortable working with ambiguous requests, evolving priorities, and non-standard community situations.
• Experience with or strong familiarity with community-driven platforms such as Reddit, Discord, Quora, Twitch, X, or similar social/community ecosystems.

Education

• Bachelor Degree or Equivalent exp. in related filed
