Digital Accessibility Tester

Seeking an experienced Digital Accessibility Tester to perform manual accessibility testing of websites, web applications, mobile apps, documents, digital forms, and enterprise platforms. The ideal candidate will ensure compliance with WCAG, ADA, and Section 508 standards while working closely with developers and stakeholders to improve digital accessibility.

Responsibilities

• Perform manual accessibility testing of digital products and services.
• Identify, document, and track accessibility issues.
• Develop test cases and maintain accessibility test libraries.
• Provide remediation recommendations and support development teams.
• Validate fixes and ensure compliance with accessibility standards.
• Communicate testing results to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 3+ years of hands-on digital accessibility testing experience.
• Strong knowledge of WCAG, ADA, and Section 508.
• Experience with assistive technologies such as JAWS, NVDA, VoiceOver, TalkBack, ZoomText, Dragon, etc.
• Knowledge of HTML, ARIA, semantic HTML, and responsive web design.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Axe, WAVE, WebAIM, SiteImprove, ARC Toolkit.
• Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, Sitecore, Salesforce, and Agile environments.
• IAAP (CPACC/WAS), DHS Trusted Tester, or Section 508 certification is a plus.
