Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver and optimize cloud infrastructure and DevOps capabilities at scale.
  • Work on complex AWS cloud platforms and influence DevOps strategy.
  • Engage in hands-on automation, CI/CD, and infrastructure as code.
  • Support large-scale, mission-critical systems with AWS environments.
  • Implement monitoring and observability solutions.

Key Skills:

  • Current SC Clearance.
  • Extensive experience with AWS cloud environments.
  • Deep knowledge of AWS services (compute, networking, security, etc.).
  • Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (CloudFormation, Terraform, CDK).
  • Advanced experience with CI/CD pipelines (AWS CodePipeline, Jenkins, etc.).
  • Strong understanding of containerization and orchestration (Docker, EKS, ECS).
  • Background in Linux and/or Windows systems administration.
  • Experience with monitoring solutions (CloudWatch, ELK, etc.).
  • AWS certifications (desirable).
  • Experience with configuration management tools (Ansible, Chef, Puppet).

A leading global technology and services provider is supporting a Home Office programme and is looking to engage two experienced SC Cleared DevOps Engineers on an initial contract basis. This role sits within a high-profile, mission-critical environment, delivering and optimising cloud infrastructure and DevOps capabilities at scale. The position offers the opportunity to work on complex AWS cloud platforms, influencing DevOps strategy while remaining hands-on across automation, CI/CD, and infrastructure as code. s. This is a home-based role with occasional London site visits when required. A delayed start is expected while SC clearance is transferred to the Home Office.

What You Need to Apply

  • Current SC Clearance (mandatory)
  • Extensive experience designing, provisioning, and maintaining AWS cloud environments supporting large-scale, mission-critical systems

  • Strong hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (CloudFormation, Terraform, CDK)
  • Advanced experience with CI/CD pipelines using tools such as AWS CodePipeline, Jenkins, GitLab, or GitHub Actions
  • Solid understanding of containerisation and orchestration (Docker, EKS, ECS)
  • Strong background in Linux and/or Windows systems administration
