Summary: The role of DevOps Engineer focuses on providing Linux expertise to an AI business, with responsibilities centered around deploying and maintaining CI systems. This fully remote position is for a 6-month contract and emphasizes automation and infrastructure management. Key Responsibilities:

• Gather and analyse metrics from operating systems as well as applications to assist in performance tuning and fault finding
• Participate in system design consulting, platform management, and capacity planning
• Participate in automation initiatives to streamline processes, improve efficiencies and reduce hosting cost
• Meeting performance, availability, scalability, reliability, maintainability, and security SLAs
• Work closely with Product Owner, Platform Team, Solution Architects and development teams for continuous improvement
• Enhance and drive automation and "Infrastructure as Code" delivery

Key Skills:

• Significant expertise in Linux
• Experience with CI systems such as GitLab/Github, Jenkins or similar
• Strong analytical skills for performance tuning and fault finding
• Knowledge of system design, platform management, and capacity planning
• Experience in automation and "Infrastructure as Code" practices
• Ability to meet performance and security SLAs
