Summary: The DevOps Engineer will design, implement, and validate an automated CI/CD pipeline for Mican software across various environments, ensuring efficient build, deployment, and promotion processes. The role involves configuring services, managing artifacts, and automating workflows while providing training and documentation for operational readiness. The engineer will also conduct smoke testing to verify deployment success. This position requires expertise in Azure DevOps and CI/CD tools, focusing on modern deployment strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design the overall CI/CD pipeline architecture to align with MTO and Mican technical standards.
- Configure required services including repositories, pipelines, and artifact management solutions.
- Manage and automate the download and transfer of build artifacts from Mican to Azure Blob Storage.
- Develop and implement pipeline automation to promote builds through designated environments.
- Configure automated triggers, approval workflows, error handling, and rollback mechanisms.
- Execute and validate smoke testing for all deployments to ensure successful implementation.
- Develop detailed technical documentation outlining configuration, deployment, and maintenance procedures.
- Conduct knowledge transfer and training sessions for Mican and MTO technical teams to ensure operational readiness.
Key Skills:
- Knowledge of Microsoft AZURE DevOps and Repos.
- Hands-on experience in CI/CD tools.
- Experience in Azure cloud platform and modern deployment strategies.
- Skilled in setting up Windows and basic Java web applications alert and logs.
