Summary: The Sr. DevOps Engineer role involves working with a suite of custom accelerators to enhance infrastructure, pipeline, and policy automation. The position requires strong analytical and communication skills, with a focus on agile methodologies and independent problem-solving. Candidates should have extensive experience in Open Shift, Service Mesh, CI/CD pipelines, and various cloud technologies. This role is remote and classified as outside IR35.
Key Responsibilities:
- Quickly become familiar with custom accelerators including Infrastructure, Pipeline, and Policy as Code.
- Develop event-driven functions, APIs, backend services, Command Language Interfaces, and Self-Service Developer Portals.
- Ensure all work is covered with unit, security, governance, and functional testing.
- Customize and deploy the delivery platform for application developers.
- Participate actively in agile ceremonies and work independently as a team member.
- Identify and resolve potential issues proactively.
Key Skills:
- 7+ years of experience with Open Shift execution.
- 5+ years of experience with Service Mesh by Red Hat.
- 7+ years of experience with CI/CD pipeline design patterns and tools.
- 3+ years of experience with GKE.
- 3+ years of experience with Terraform.
- 3+ years of experience with IOT Cluster Support, Google Cloud Platform, Jfrog, ArgoCD, Kubernetes, Sonarqube, ADO$, Jenkins.
- Willingness to provide rotational weekend support once a month.
