Summary: The DevOps Engineer role focuses on configuring AWS security measures, managing CI/CD pipelines, and ensuring reliable application deployments. Key Responsibilities:

  • Configure and fine-tune AWS WAF rules to protect applications from security threats and vulnerabilities
  • Set up and manage CI/CD pipelines for development, staging, and production environments with automated build, test, and deployment processes
  • Implement test gates, quality checks, and rollback mechanisms to ensure safe and reliable releases
  • Create and maintain monitoring solutions using Amazon CloudWatch dashboards, logs, and alarms
  • Enable distributed tracing and observability using AWS X-Ray and perform advanced log queries for troubleshooting
  • Develop and maintain operational runbooks, incident response procedures, and SLA monitoring frameworks
  • Define and enforce tagging strategies and lifecycle policies for cost optimization and governance
  • Manage production deployments using CDK, including DNS configuration and TLS/SSL setup
  • Collaborate closely with frontend and backend teams to streamline deployments and improve system reliability

Key Skills:

  • 9-13 years of experience in DevOps and Strong hands-on experience with AWS
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code, preferably AWS Cloud Development Kit (CDK) or Terraform
  • Proven experience in building and managing CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, AWS Code Pipeline)
  • Strong knowledge of cloud security practices, including WAF, IAM, and network security
  • Experience with monitoring and observability tools (CloudWatch, X-Ray, logging frameworks)
  • Experience with DNS, TLS/SSL, and production-grade deployments
  • Knowledge of cost optimization strategies, tagging policies, and lifecycle management
