Summary: The role of DevOps Engineer involves designing, implementing, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI/CD and Helm for a large managed service provider. The role is primarily remote but may require onsite presence in London, Manchester, or Newcastle for key meetings. Candidates must have at least 5 years of unbroken UK residency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and optimise infrastructure-as-code using Terraform and related automation tools.
- Support the containerisation and migration of Legacy batch components into modern Kubernetes environments.
- Collaborate with application and infrastructure teams to improve build, deployment, and operational processes.
- Maintain and enhance version control, artifact registries, and pipeline integrations.
- Ensure alignment with AWS best practices for reliability, scalability, and security.
Key Skills:
- Strong experience with DevOps practices and automation first delivery.
- Hands-on with GitLab CI/CD, ArgoCD, Helm or similar CI/CD and GitOps tools.
- DevOps required to support HLD + prototyping phase.

Key Responsibilities:
Develop and optimise infrastructure-as-code using Terraform and related automation tools. Support the containerisation and migration of Legacy batch components into modern Kubernetes environments. Collaborate with application and infrastructure teams to improve build, deployment, and operational processes.
