Summary: Seeking a DevOps Engineer to enhance CI/CD workflows, automate environment creation, and ensure secure and reliable deployments across various stages. The role requires expertise in cloud technologies and scripting to manage modern web applications effectively. The position is fully remote, catering to candidates in the UK and EU. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in DevOps practices and excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deploy and configure modern web applications on containerised infrastructure.
  • Build dynamic QA environments with automated provisioning and teardown of DBs, storage, and configs.
  • Define release, promotion, rollback, and migration processes.
  • Manage database and object storage resources.
  • Maintain and troubleshoot CI/CD pipelines using Scripting tools.
  • Contribute to architecture discussions and support development teams.
  • Communicate clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Key Skills:

  • 5+ years in DevOps/SRE or similar.
  • Strong cloud knowledge (AWS or GCP).
  • Experience building CI/CD pipelines.
  • Understanding of containerised deployments and multi-environment setups.
  • Proficiency with IaC tools (Terraform, Ansible).
  • Strong Scripting skills (Shell, Python).
  • Knowledge of cloud security best practices.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
