DevOps Engineer

The Opportunity

We're seeking a skilled Cloud Platform Engineer to join a growing team delivering and supporting modern cloud-native platforms. This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer with strong Kubernetes, AWS, and DevOps experience who enjoys working across platform engineering, automation, identity management, and cloud infrastructure.

You'll play a key role in designing, deploying, and maintaining secure, scalable, and highly available cloud environments while supporting application teams with modern deployment and operational practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and support cloud-native platforms and services.
• Deploy and manage applications and infrastructure within Kubernetes environments.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions.
• Implement infrastructure automation and deployment best practices.
• Support identity and access management using Keycloak and Entra ID.
• Work with containerised workloads using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Manage and optimise cloud-native services and supporting databases.
• Collaborate with development teams to improve deployment, monitoring, and operational processes.
• Contribute to platform reliability, scalability, and security initiatives.

Essential Skills & Experience

• Strong experience with Cloud Platform (ACP/Core Cloud).
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes.
• Experience with Docker and containerised application deployment.
• Knowledge of Keycloak and Microsoft Entra ID.
• Experience with GitHub Actions and modern CI/CD practices.
• Experience working with MongoDB and PostgreSQL.
• Knowledge of Amazon S3 storage services.
• Experience with Karpenter or Kubernetes autoscaling technologies.
• Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure, automation, and DevOps principles.

Desirable Skills

• Data migration experience.
• Exposure to large-scale cloud transformation programmes.
• Infrastructure as Code experience.
• Experience working within regulated or security-conscious environments.
